Luckily for her though, a mysterious boy named Haku appears, claiming to know her from the past. Under his instructions, Chihiro secures a job in the bathhouse where Haku works. With only her courage and some new found friends to aid her, Chihiro embarks on a journey to turn her parents back to their original forms and return home.

It is only when Makoto chooses to use this ability to avoid some of the more personal issues that arise with her friends, do events become both complex and painfully difficult - the simple gift that she once took for granted suddenly becomes a troublesome burden.

But then one day she goes unannounced to his agency with a delivery, and overhears him talking about her; he reveals to his manager that he only took her with him as a maid, and that he doesn't care for her at all. Upon hearing this, Kyoko doesn't just sit around and cry. She cuts and dyes her hair, changes her clothes and attitude and thus begins her journey to join showbiz and have her revenge against Sho.

Summary: The story is split up into several chapters. The first one revolves around Minami's pet dog, Cherry, and how the other characters behave around him. In the second part, Kagami and Tsukasa join Konata and Nanako in an MMORPG where Kagami is confused by all the leetspeak and Tsukasa has trouble figuring out the game mechanics. In the third part, Kagami has a Cinderella-esque dream where Konata uses magic to take her to the ball dressed as Hatsune Miku. In the fourth part, a volleyball game ensues in which Misao encourages Tsukasa to defeat her sister and rise out of the ranks of 'side character.' The fifth part sees Konata, Kagami, Tsukasa and Miyuki lost in the woods whilst on a nature hike, trying to figure out where to go and how to survive, with Konata providing little to no help towards the situation. The sixth part sees the girls go to an odd pet shop where they find a rabid Sgt. Frog and Private Tamama and somehow wake up as various frogs. It ends with a live action Lucky Channel segment.
